Lush Rocket Science Bath Bomb

Before I get into this post I just wanted to mention a little update that I have made to my blog. Those of you who are following me on Instagram will already know, but I have finally changed my blog name and I’m really pleased with it! I thought my old name was a bit confusing and not very me so from now on my blog will be called ‘NotesbyLaura’ (I’ve decided to keep my old URL though as it looks a bit complicated to have everything redirected).

Anyway, onto the Lush review! As soon as I saw this cute little spaceship I knew I had to try it. This is the Rocket Science bath bomb, one of the most recent products released by Lush. It is one of their cheaper bath bombs, retailing at £2.95, but it does not disappoint!

One thing I love about this is the scent. It does have a strong citrusy smell, but it is very refreshing as it contains Sicilian Lemon Oil and Bergamot Oil.

Hands down, this is the most entertaining bath bomb I have ever used. I love how it is a slow fizzer that zooms around in the bathtub, emitting trails of blue and pink glittery foam which blend to create a beautiful scene in the tub, resembling that of a galaxy. I genuinely felt like a magical mermaid in a sparkly lagoon whilst in the bath.

Just a little warning, unless you’re a fan of blue legs, don’t try and get in the bath before it has finished dissolving as it contains quite a lot of colour which does stain your skin if you touch the bath bomb. Despite this, I didn’t find it stained the bath as long as you give it a quick rinse afterwards.

Overall I would give the Rocket Science bath bomb 5/5. For under £3 this is definitely worth the money. It’s fun, visually pleasing, smells great and leaves your skin feeling soft and smooth. They have a similar submarine one which I imagine will be amazing too!

Have you tried this bath bomb?

Thank you for reading, and have a lovely day!
